Roni Rabl: What was your vision and where did you take your inspiration for Spring 2016 collection? Revital Vidal: “Summer 2016 will be quite contrasted with a bohemian influence, a mix of lace, a play on transparency, and a wide range of denim and indigo variations. Like a road-trip, this new collection is placed under the sign of diversity, cultural blending, and various color combinations.”

Roni Rabl. What are the top 3 trends for this coming Spring Summer season? Revital Vidal: “Fly to the Blue Indigo. Dive into the Indigo trend. Denim is stonewashed, enzyme washed, coated or raw. Tie and dye effects are a key trend this season. On knitwear, light silks, flowing fabrics, in a rich color range of khaki, sand, aqua, camel. “Manual” techniques give the pieces a unique and authentic aspect. A gypsy like silhouette, along the beach. Lace, Also Lace. Lace is still very present this season. As a filigree design, a textured effect or a decorative pattern, it adds a feminine and romantic touch to the garment. A palette of whites, a touch of lace, and a play on transparency… It is still time for romanticism this summer.”

Roni Rabl. What brought you to be a designer ? Revital Vidal: “Creating means getting away. I have always found myself in a perpetual creative process all through my everyday life. There are multiple sources of inspiration. Some are part of my daily activities and others I come across during the numerous trips I go on. We can be inspired by a detail which we choose to adapt and transform, then enhance into various ideas and stories. The color palette is spun along the way, and pieced together onto inspirational mood boards. I honestly believe that taking special care to develop one’s creative sense at the beginning of the collection is what makes a true brand DNA. Style is a personal matter which has nothing to do with fashion. Fashion is ephemeral, style remains.”
