Thought of the week - Noticing

Can I feel hopeless without falling into hopelessness? Can I find stillness among the chaos? How can we not be swayed by the winds today? I find this period of time with heightened awareness of a virus and pollution to be quite beneficial to people doing spiritual work. So much work of noticing. And if I can just notice and not react, good things will come ! Happy Tuesday! Yael

Thought of the week - Silver lining

Monday Zoom calls uplift my spirits tremendously! Today was especially brilliant! Sharing our experiences as the country is starting to reopen and as we are all learning new ways of being in business and with each other are priceless! Let me share a few ideas with you all - * Zoom trunk show with a high end jewelry designer that brought 35 sales. Thought of the week - Covid Brain

In the mornings, on my way to work, I like to pick up fruit from the guy on the corner of 96th street. Last week I picked my fruit and when I was about to pay him I couldn't find my purse. Suddenly the challenge becomes an opportunity. I see how many of you will gain new market share as the market gets smaller. I see how much I can still learn and grow. I am learning how to run my business wisely and with more cautiousness....

Thought of the week - Staying sane

It is so easy to lose track these days. To lose hope, feel self-pity and forget the oneness of this crisis. I took this weekend to rest and reflect. Trying to put the business aside for a day and look at the big picture. To remind myself that I am a small part in something much bigger than me. Without that spiritual practice I would probably go crazy. It keeps me anchored and open. Nothing happened because we did something wrong and a lot of what happens next is not in our control. We can only control our reaction to it. We can accept and move forward. Together. What keeps you sane these days? What's your practice? Happy Monday, Yael...
